Welcome to an Open Panel Discussion: The responsibility of the Art Institutions in the traces of the #metoo movement

What does the #metoo movement mean regarding necessary changes within the field of art? As Art and Educational Institutions we have a joint responsibility to take part and to improve.

Therefor we – The Royal Institute of Art, University of Arts, Crafts and Design, The Royal Academy Fine Arts and Moderna Museet – invite to an open Panel Discussion on responsibility, measures for change and possibilities to break power structures and infringements.

The participants in the panel are Sara Arrhenius, Vice-Chancellor at The Royal Institute of Art, Maria Lantz, Vice-Chancellor at University of Arts, Crafts and Design, Isabella Nilsson, The Royal Academy Fine Arts and Daniel Birnbaum and Ann-Sofi Noring, Co-Director resp. Museum Director at Moderna Museet.

The discussion will be moderated by Sofia Curman, Chief-Editor for the magazine Konstnären which is published by Konstnärernas Riksorganisation.
