Kungl. Konsthögskolan (KKH) offers a three-year bachelor program in fine arts. The focus of the education is on individual artistic work and the studies aim at giving the students possibilities to develop their skills, their special character, and to develop an independent attitude as well as critical thinking about artistic creation. Possibilities are given to work in different artistic techniques such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital media and video.

The education consists of work in the studio and workshops, both individual and group discussions related to artistic work and production, practical as well as theoretical courses, projects, workshops and lectures. Furthermore, there are professional preparation courses, study trips, study visits and a concluding exam exhibition. During the education it is possible to study abroad at one of KKH:s partner schools.

Each student has a professor as a supervisor. The supervision by the professor is done both individually and in year-mixed professor groups. Professor groups are comprised of discussions, presentations and accounts of the student’s own work and the work of fellow students as well as  other artistic based activities. Supervision, both technical and artistic, is also given by the teachers in the workshops.

The students in the Bachelor Program create their own study plan in consultation with their supervising professor. The aim of the individual study plan is to find a curriculum for each student, which supports the student in realizing artistic projects and develop his or her artistry.

The teaching language is mainly Swedish, but instruction in English is also given.

Last day for application was the 12:th of March.
