The RepRap project was originated by professor Adrian Bowyer at the University of Bath. It aims  to create a 3D printer capable of self replication under a creative commons license.

Print up is interested in this project because of it DIY mentality and Utopian aims.Charlie Stern attended a workshop with Adrian Bowyer at the  in Bath. The aim was to build a working printer in 20 hours or so.
Time was tight but the machine was completed and made a test print before being flown home to Sweden. This machine will now print the parts for a second printer at KKH.
