Within the study fields Internet related media, Photography, Fine Art Printing and Interactive techniques KKH has access to advanced equipment and professional software for 2D image processing, 3D modeling and multimedia. There are possibilities for experimenting in various www-techniques (streamed video, web art etc.) and interactive sculpture.
Both Video (and sound) artists who already have experience and want to further their knowledge, as well as artists who want to learn the basics are welcome to apply. The activities include experimental videos, video installations, performance, cartoon film and multimedia for CD-ROM or Internet. The teaching is naturally very oriented towards technique, but also includes theoretical studies. Only a full academic year can be applied for.
Within the Printmaking techniques one can choose intaglio, lithography and/or silk screen. The project programme in printmaking is aimed for artists who already have a good knowledge about graphic techniques as well as for those who have less knowledge. Projects that involve more than one of the graphic art workshops are also possible. Application can be made for either a full academic year or one semester. If application is made for a full academic year, two techniques can be chosen, one for each semester.
In Sculpture applications with innovative projects are given priority. To be admitted, previous training is needed. The workshop offers several different opportunities for preparing and experimenting with three dimensional objects. It is possible to work with a number of different materials, such as: Jesmonite, silicone, polymeric materials, plaster, wax, alginate etc. Application can be made for either one semester or a full academic year.
